Our research

Modern work systems place ever new and increasingly complex demands on people. A high degree of willingness to adapt, flexibility, physical and mental resilience as well as extremely versatile requirement profiles are in demand. Technological change also creates altered strains of a physical and chemical nature, both for people and for their environment. To cope with the increasing complexity of work processes and systems, we analyze safety and health problems in a holistic approach.
We work in an interdisciplinary manner, combining expertise from fields as diverse as engineering, physics, chemistry, microbiology, medicine and psychology to analyze safety and occupational health problems, identify correlations and determine root causes. In this way, we develop practical solutions that can be implemented directly in the companies.
The results of our research are published so that they can benefit the general public.
