Testing and certification body (ATEX)

The Testing and Certification Body of FSA GmbH is a European notified body, registered under the identification number 0588, for equipment and protective systems for intended use in potentially explosive atmospheres under Directive 2014/34/EU (ATEX).

A part from the laboratories at the Mannheim headquarter, FSA operates a test site in Kappelrodeck to investigate dust- and gas explosions, as well as testing of equipment, components and protective systems for use in potentially explosive atmospheres.

Train/Tram - Travel Information "Die Bahn"

From Mannheim main station. Tram line 1 towards Rheinau one stop to Tattersall change to line 6 direction Neuostheim, stop at Planetarium. The Trains run every10-minutes; the journey takes about 8 minutes. From there, you walk about 5 minutes on the Gottlieb-Daimler-Straße up to Dynamostrasse 7-11.

Larger trucks with a trailer cannot get to the test site. Delivery at the warehouse is available by prior arrangement.
Please coordinate all deliveries with the staff of the test site.
